The Pedlar® 1st Step Light Exerciser is constructed for convenient storage and quick assemble -- no tools required. It is great for patients recovering from hip, knee or shoulder surgery or for anyone unable to use conventional exercise bikes or treadmills. The light exerciser is portable, adaptable to arms and legs and features adjustable resistance that allows anyone to build strength and cardiovascular endurance from home.

Directions

Your Pedlar Exerciser can be used while seated in a chair or wheelchair or from the side of a bed. You can also place it on a table top and put your hands in the pedal straps to use it for arm and upper body exercise.

Turn the tension know at the top of the unit clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease resistance.

Start slowly and gradually work up to 20 minutes of pedaling at least three times a week. Don't overdo it. Listen to your body. It will protest if you've done too much. Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.
