just want to say this is a hell of a product. i purhcased one many many years ago. the big one. had if for about 10 years and it went dead and you replaced it free. its about 10 years old again and still working. all i needed was a new pad. ordered that today. probably need a new one soon. wow they have gone up in price but i hope quality is same - David

Woke up at midnight with stomach cramps and not feeling so hot....After about 3 hrs later, laying on my bathroom floor, I look up and see my thermophore. I turn down the AC and go curl up with my awesome heating pad and slept like a baby until 11. I love my thermophore

You know you are getting top quality when you purchase a thermophore every time. This is my third pad and I just can`t seem to live with out one. I remember as a child when these pads first came out. My father had purchased one from the drug store for my mother when I was very young. Since then my family has always had a thermophore. Interesting information: The switch used for the classic pads was invented in my home town. Stratford ,CN. Glad to have such a friendly company selling a product I have recommended to others for years.

Very helpful! This is the 2nd one I’ve bought so don’t have to move one in living room to bedroom at night. I believe use of this heat pad reduces amount of pain meds I need for degenerative discs in back and arthritis in hips, knees, hands, and spine.

In 1979 I was a passenger in a vehicle which was virtually destroyed in a collision. My right hip joint was badly damaged and many muscles in my back and shoulders were torn. My physical therapist recommended the large Thermophore pad for home treatment. This item has seen countless hours of use over the years, during which time I have had the hip joint replaced, and have experienced arthritic changes in the damaged parts of my body. Over more than 35 years of use it still works as advertised, although the original cover is falling apart! Obviously the quality and materials in the manufacture of this amazing piece of equipment were first class. I am in my mid 70's now, and I fear the Thermophore may even outlast me! If it doesn't, I'm glad to know that I can still get a replacement. Richard Tolson, Bel Air, MD.
