This is a wonderful heating pad! I am using it during recovery from orthopedic surgery. At its highest setting (it has 3 heat settings, with a timer control) it gets warmer than the 'normal' one I purchased at the drug store, which is a real plus. The weighting keeps it against the body so that one really feels the warmth and the size ensures that it covers a larger area, which is perfect for warming one's entire back, wrapping around leg muscle, or wrapping around a shoulder. I must also comment on Thermophore's exceptional customer service. I originally purchased the version of this heating pad whose control did not have a timer on it because I did not notice that they offered two different versions (one with timer and one that requires the control to be hand-held on). I mentioned my disappointment with this in the review I left and I was contacted within one day by the company that said they did offer the version with the timer and that I could return the original one and get a full refund. Wow - thank you Thermophore! Since then, I have purchased the cool/hot pack for the knee - another quality product.
The large 14”x27” moist heating pad is wonderful! The heat controls work so well; never too hot but always hot enough. The auto shut-off after 25 minutes is an outstanding safety feature. Great product!
I have problem with right trapezius muscle, if I lift 25#, or pull like vacuuming, raking. Been years, had MRI on neck, when I lifted pushmower into trunk I felt extreme pain on right side of neck, felt like head was going to explode. Went to chiropractor for 3 months and they treated as herniated disk, were wrong, and spinal decompression actually aggravated.
